Carlyn holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts, Global Studies with the Community Engagement and Muslim Studies Options from Wilfrid Laurier University (2017), Honours Bachelor of Social Work from Lakehead University (2019) and a Master of Social Work from the University of Windsor (2025). She is a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW) and is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers (OCSW).
Carlyn has experience in a variety of settings, including mental health, domestic violence, developmental services, and corrections. She has a certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) from Wilfrid Laurier University (2023).
Carlyn believes that healing happens in connection. Her work is grounded in curiosity, and the confidence that everyone has the capacity for growth. She is passionate about group therapy, where clients can explore patterns, build relational awareness, and experience healing in community.
Carlyn provides services for both groups and individuals, children, adolescents, and adults.
