Alisha obtained her Bachelor of Arts, (Fine Arts and Psychology) in 2018 and is currently in the process of completing her Master’s level diploma at the Toronto Art Therapy Institute. She is a Registered Psychotherapist (qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario as well as registered with the Canadian Art Therapy Association.
Alisha provides art therapy services for children, adolescents, adults and families, both individually and in groups. Art therapy combines the creative process and psychotherapy, facilitating self exploration and understanding. In art therapy the emphasis is not on the product but on the creative process and is intended to facilitate insights into the reasons for emotional distress by uncovering many underlying dimensions of our personal stories.
